The camp is geared for children aged 5 to 12 years old and operates weekly from June 25 to the end of August at Howard Talbot Park in Leaside. Hours of operation are 8:30AM to 4:30PM and extended hours can be purchased. Half-day and lunch purchase options are also available.
Something for every level:
At Leaside Baseball Camp we have four levels of camp for different ages and skills:
Children will be assigned their level based on age and assessment of skill and experience.
And we are right in the heart of Leaside:
We are located at Howard Talbot Park - the home of the Leaside Baseball Association and the Leaside Leafs!
We run weekly, right through the summer:
We run a schedule that caters to the busy family:
Our typical daily programming:
And our lunch options:
Campers are invited to pack their own lunches, however, Leaside Baseball Camp has partnered with Healthy Kidz, a catering company owned by a local Leaside parent, to provide lunches to all players for a fee paid at the time of initial registration. The lunch program focuses on healthy, affordable meals for players.
Children registered for the Lunch Program at registration will receive bracelets to identify them to the service staff.
We will accommodate multi-allergy requests and religious and dietary restrictions. The facility is a 100% nut-free and shellfish-free environment.
Our menus are designed and prepared in accordance with the Canada Food Guide to Healthy Eating: Bill 8 – Healthy Foods for Healthy Schools Act; The Trans Fat Regulation; and the PPM 150 – Food and Beverage Policy. All Healthy Kidz menus are approved by a registered dietician and support the municipal and regional criteria including the City of Toronto Operating Criteria.
The Healthy Kidz program runs Monday to Thursday each week. We then have "Pizza Fridays" where our sponsor, Pizzaville, supplies cheese and cheese pepperoni pizzas to those that have purchased the Lunch Program.
The Lunch Program is $40 per week.
